Larry William Rose, 73, of Smithville, Tennessee passed away on July 6, 2013 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1939 in Anderson, Indiana.

He was a graduate of Madison Heights High School in Anderson, and Massey Business and Technical College in Altlanta, Georgia. He served his country in the US Army. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. Larry was a member of UAW #662. After his retirement, he moved to Center Hill Lake, Tennessee, then briefly to Panama City Beach, Florida before moving to Smithville, Tennessee.

Larry is survived by his loving spouse, Alice Rose, children, Melvin wife, Bobbi Cravens Jr., Steve Cravens, Lanny Cravens and Stan Cravens, grandchildren, Natalie Cravens, Marke Cravens, Christopher Cravens, Anna Cravens, Stazia Cravens and Kyle Cravens all of Indiana and special friends in Indiana, Tennessee and Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Iva Simmons Rose and sister, Linda Kay Rose.
