Larry Wayne Sparrow, 53 of 215 Belaire Drive, Danville passed away Thursday April 28, 2011 surrounded by his loved ones at Danville Regional Medical Center after 6 days of declining health. Mr. Sparrow was born Sept. 29, 1957 in Danville to the late Margaret Gauldin Sparrow and Jack Wilson Sparrow. He was married to Patsy Hayes Sparrow of the residence. Mr. Sparrow worked at Adams Construction prior to a decline in health in 2008. He also worked many years at APAC as an equipment operator and supervisor. In addition to his wife and father he is also survived by his step mother, Hazel Sparrow: two daughters Sylvia Sparrow Cullop and husband Allen of Danville and Lorrie Sparrow Henderson and husband Travis W. of Dry Fork, Va.: six grandchildren; Jeffery and Robert Cullop, Mackinsey and Nadia Bartley, Haley and TJ Henderson: two sisters; Lois Sparks and husband Chuck and Patricia Wiles and husband Jerry: four brothers; Jack Sparrow and wife Patsy, Ricky Sparrow and wife Ellen, Acie Sparrow and Otis Sparrow and wife Melody: along with a host of nieces and nephews.
