Larry S. Wilson, age 62 of Midland, died Tuesday November 20, 2012 at Brittany Manor after a long battle with cancer. The son of the late Fred W. and Kathryn A. (VanValkenburg) Wilson, Jr. was born in Detroit on November 1, 1950. Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed woodworking, reading and watching Sci Fi movies.
Surviving is his wife Carla whom he married on July 22, 1999 in Midland; daughter, Heather Wilson; son, Trevor Wilson; step daughter, Brittany Miller; step son, Ryan Miller; brother, James Wilson; cousin, Carol Bogya; 2 nieces and 1 great nephew and his father-in-law Edward Penney. He was predeceased by mother- in-law Clara Penney. The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to sisters-in-law Judy, Sharon, Debbie and Penny and to Cancer Services, Senior Services and Heartland Hospice.
