Larry Michael Brennan was born on June 3, 1936. He was the fourth of six children born to James E. Brennan and Mary Williams Brennan. Larry had a happy adventurous childhood growing up in Boise East End. He was loved by all who knew him and was always the life of the party. He was also a big fan of Boise State Bronco’s football team and he always enjoyed watching the games with his son, Peter. He also loved his Beagles- Molly, Bailey and Buddy.
He graduated from Boise High School in 1954 and went on to Boise Junior College for one year. He then enlisted into the Army with his two close friends Chuck Hervey and John Lewis. He served two years at Fort Riley, Kansas with the First Infantry “Big Red” as a Military Police Officer.
In 1959 he married Marjory Jones and was blessed with a daughter, Susan (Greg Lau); and three sons, Shawn, Daniel (Cris) and Patrick (Kimberly).
In 1973 he met and married Grace Riley Carmack and his family grew by four children, Larry Carmack (Janet), Jerry Carmack, Beth Tipton and Cathy Carmack. With his marriage to Grace they were blessed with their son, Peter.
Larry worked for Boise Cascade for 39 years as Supervisor in the Beam, Decking and Finger Joint Department and he retired in 1998. Larry and Grace had many fun vacation trips with his brother, Jim and wife, Jeri.
In addition, he is survived by his two brothers, Jim (Jeri) and Bob (Jene); his sister, Beverly Thometz; sister-in-law, Kay Hervey (Chuck); and was blessed with 15 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Billie Jean and Mary Kay.
