Larry Hansen, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 4, 2021, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation.

Larry was born March 9, 1962, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to Raeleen Lyman Hansen. He grew up in many places, including Las Vegas, and attended sixteen different schools before graduating from Burbank High School in Washington. He graduated on the Honor Roll. He liked acting in school plays, played the clarinet and saxophone with the band, and sang with the chorus. He also attended college in Pasco, Washington.

Larry worked as a caregiver for HAS Inc.

He was first and foremost a father and humanitarian. He was an avid reader, artist, poet, and philosopher. He enjoyed chess.

Larry is survived by his mother, Raeleen Hansen of Idaho Falls; son, Kenneth James Hansen of Kennewick, WA; son, Enoch Irwin Hansen of ID; stepson, Arturo Morin of ID; stepson, DJ Beck of ID; stepdaughter, Kendall Beck of ID; sister, Valeena Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; one niece; six nephews; one aunt; one uncle; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie-Jo Henderson; grandmother, Alberta Dolly Crump; grandfather, Melvin E. Hansen; uncle, Lonnie Hansen; grandmother, Aleen “Grandma Sugar” Cook Lyman; grandfather, Edward “Bob” R Lyman; and aunt, Terry Edwards.
