Larry Joe Ray, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was born on April 3, 1955 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Sam and Effer Bonzella Ray. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Willard Ray, Jerry Ray and Kenny Ray; sister, Brenda Gossett. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Ray Bryant of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Andrea and Billy Derosier of Travlers Rest, SC, Michelle Cartwright of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Pete and Vonda Ray of Cooksville, TN, Donny and Tina Ray of Cartersville, GA; sisters and brother in law, Mary Faye Smith of Flatrock AL, Reba Knight of Nashville, TN, Anne and Kevin Sinclair of Cohutta, GA; mother and father in law, Katherine and Robert Jordan of Dalton; grandchildren, Adam Ray, Jordan Ray, Adrianna Bomber and Kaila Ray of Dalton, Bianca Bomber and Justin Derosier of Travlers Rest, SC; special niece and her husband, Jennifer and Tim Lawrence; special friends, Debra and Ray Long of Dalton, and Richard Kenmore of Dalllas, TX; several nieces and nephews. At his request there will be no memorial service.
