Larry Harlen Shriver was born July 9, 1937 at home in Wayne County Iowa, the first of four children born to Ivan Earl Shriver and Hannah Marie Watson. Larry passed away peacefully at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Ia, February 19, 2014. Aside from a short time when his family lived in Cambria, Ia, he attended Chariton Schools, graduating with the class of 1956. In 1956, Larry married Sharon Peterson and they were blessed with Kerry Lynne, Curt, Chris, and Kathy. His second marriage to Linda Olson on June 9, 1974 further blessed his family with the addition of Chrissy, and later Courtney and Kay Marie. Larry drove truck for 35 years for Hy-Vee Food Stores, retiring in 1997.
