Larry Gene Gibson, 75, of Wadsworth, died Monday, july 9, 2018 at Hospice of Medina County after a period of declining health.
Larry was born in Montgomery, WV on June 15, 1943 to the late Carl and Juanita (Moore) Gibson and married Irene Harmon on April 28, 1989. She preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 2014. Larry served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1963 – 1967 and retired from Volvo White in Orrville. He was a member of the Wadsworth American Legion Post 170 and the Wadsworth Eagles. Larry always enjoyed being with his friends and he will me missed.
Surviving are his step-children, Jean Keyser, Hope Weber, Randy Harmon and Keith Harmon; daughter-in-law, Shelly Gibson; sister, Lena McNatt; nieces and nephews and his good friend, Duane Bricker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his beloved son, Larry D. Gibson in 2016 and a sister, Linda.
