Larry G. Marcum, Sr., 70, of Greenfield, passed away at home on April 26, 2017. He was born August 4, 1946 to the late James and Annabelle (Keeton) Marcum.

He was an Oneida High School graduate, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and of the Baptist faith. Larry worked as a recruiter for the AFL-CIO Job Corps, had been a machinist for Rexnord (formerly FMC) for 17 years and served as a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 1150 Employee Assistance Program representative.

He is survived by his wife Sandra (Savage) Marcum, whom he married on May 20, 1967 in Las Vegas, NV; son: Larry (Liane) Marcum, Jr. of Indianapolis; daughters: Jennifer L. (Brian) Willis of Greenfield and Laura Lee (Fred) Mullins of Ingalls; 7 grandchildren; Abigail, Emily and Chloe Willis; Ashlyn and Annaliese Marcum; Dustin and Dylan Mullins; twin brother: Gary D. (Judy) Marcum of Rome, GA; brothers: Lester Marcum of Oneida, TN; Curtis (Thelma) Marcum of Oneida, TN; Robert (Myra) Marcum of Oneida, TN; sisters: Margaret S. (Ron) Blakley of Indianapolis; Shirley West of Oneida, TN.

He was preceded in death by brothers: Robert H. Marcum; Tim Marcum and Charles Marcum; sister: Irene Alexander.
