Larry F. Smith, 72, Warren, Indiana died on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 (4:10 AM) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born May 24, 1936 In Flint, Michigan to James W.and Winifred Myers Smith. His parents preceded him in death. He married Nancy Darland on December 26, 1954 in Monument City, Indiana. She survives and resides in Warren, IN. Mr. Smith retired from GM, Marion Indiana where he was previously employed as a Clerk Manager.
He attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the CPC Sympathy Club. Larry was an avid racquetball player and enjoyed many activities with his grandchildren. Additional survivors include Three daughters: Cindy (Juan) Pena, Kalamazoo, MI; Jill (Dave) Campbell, Fort Wayne, IN. and Anita (Greg) Hughes, Huntington, IN. Step-mother, Patricia Smith, Warren, Indiana. Grandchildren: Dustin Campbell, Dana Kirby, Hanna Pena, Gabriel Pena, Joshua Pena, Jacob Pena, Alex Hughes, Max Hughes and Jackson Hughes. Great-grandchildren: Zachary and Haley Kirby and Jacob Pena Jr.
