Larry E. Fruchey, 72, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, June 28, at his residence.
He was born March 5, 1944, in Elkhart, to Arthur and Fern (Mast) Fruchey.
On May 29, 1964, he married his wife of 52 years, Vicki J. Fruchey.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include one son, Chad (Ann) Fruchey of Elkhart; two daughters, Kristin Cooper of Elkhart and Angela Fruchey of Elkhart; one brother, John (Sally) Fruchey of Granger; three sisters, Beverly King of San Antonio, Texas, Sherry (Larry) Moore of Elkhart and Illene (Ron) Crippes of Marcellus, Mich.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-granddaughter.
Larry was employed as a tool and die maker for more than 40 years and was employed at NIBCO Inc. prior to his retirement.
He spent several years serving as a Boy Scout Leader and often enjoyed spending time fishing.
