Larry Dean Maas, age 73, of Vandalia, died peacefully Saturday morning, December 16, 2017 in his residence in the comfort of his family’s presence.
He was born July 13, 1944 in Pekin, Illinois, the third child of John and Mary Maas, Sr.
He married Patricia Ann Tucker August 16, 1964 in Pekin, Illinois. She preceded him in death April 24, 2016. He was also preceded by his parents and one sister, Yvonne Morris.
Larry will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Lorrie and Geoff Romer of Dyer, Indiana; one son and daughter in law, Sean and Sara Maas of LaPorte, Indiana; one grandson, Tucker Dean Maas; one sister and brother in law, Diana and Gary Mathison of Bradenton, Florida; one brother and sister in law, John and Pam Maas of Green Valley, Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews.
