Muncie – Larry Dale Glaze, 61, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at his mother’s residence following an extended illness.

Larry was born in Cuba, Missouri the son of Phillip Wulff and Bonnie (Ferris) Swingley, (husband-Paul). He attended Wapahani High School.

Larry was a painter for 43 years until his health forced him to retire in 2013. He was a Blues Musician, played for many bands around Muncie, and was known for his unique ability to play the Harmonica.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Shiela Glaze, Muncie; three step-sons, George Randle Fluhr, (fiancé-Jessica), Muncie; Christopher Fluhr, (wife-Malissa), Jacksonville, Florida, and Justin Fluhr, (wife-Amber), Newport Richie, Florida; a step-daughter, India Reason, St. Paul, Minnesota; a brother, Eric Glaze, (wife-Cathy), Selma; three sisters, Theresa Johnson, Selma, Tina Taylor, (husband-Randy), Smithfield, and Tara Glaze-Romero, (husband-Joseph), Selma; two step-brothers, Tony Swingley, (wife-Connie), Knoxville, Tennessee, Kerry Stinson, (wife-Karen), Parker City; his foster father, Gene Glaze, (wife-Dorothy), Fairview; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Gary Glaze; and a sister, Beverly Glaze.
