Larry Bivins Jefferson, 82, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Larry was born December 30, 1941, to Milton and Lillian Jefferson of Petersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shaaron Jefferson, and brother Frank Jefferson (Sandra). He is survived by his daughter, Kelly J. Wilson (Pat), stepdaughters, Christine T. Ramsey (Billy), and Stacey Meyer (Brad). He was an amazing PAPA to Meade and Jack Wilson, Haley Sammler, Preston Ramsey, Kaysea Ramsey, Morgan Beasley, Caleb Meyer, and many, many others whom he loved and always considered to be his “grandchildren.” He is also survived by his sister Louise Daniel (Eugene), his nephews Mark Jefferson, Todd Jefferson (Raquel), John Daniel (Allison), and his niece Elizabeth Faulkner (Ronnie). Larry always lived life to the fullest, and he never met a stranger.
