Larry Anthony Marquez, was born August 6, 1952 in Douglas, Arizona to Eloy and Amelia Marquez. He had attended Lordsburg High School and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Western New Mexico University. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and he was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lordsburg.
Larry is survived by his wife, Katrina Marquez; two sons, Lorenzo Marquez and Benjamin Steiner; stepson, Michael Levi Meza; daughters, Adriana Carpio, Rachael Marquez, Lauren Marquez, and Ysabell Marquez; step-daughter, Angela O’Donnell; brothers, Eloy “June Bug” Marquez, and Leo Marquez; Sister, LouAnne Gallegos; half brothers, George Marquez and Dennis Marquez. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steve Marquez; sister, Josephina Marquez “JoAnn”; and a half sister, Anna Marie Marquez.
