December 29, 1946 – August 27, 2015

Larry Allen Snyder was born on December 29th 1946. He passed on Thursday, August 27th 2015 in the early morning in his sleep. Larry was born in Galion Ohio. He graduated from Miami University in 1968 and immediately entered the Air Force where he served for twenty-two years until retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1990. Larry served in the States, England, Germany, Thailand, and South Korea (Red Horse). He and his family moved to Helotes in 1988 and then settled in the Boerne area in 1989. His final retirement, this time from government contracting, occurred in 1996. His family believes his proudest achievement, aside from two children, was using horse manure to grow plants and big rocks in south Texas! Larry Snyder is survived by two children, two sisters, and his mother. He is missed deeply by his family. He has chosen to not be buried, rather to be cremated and will be placed in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, November 13th at 1:00 PM.
