Larry Allan Stoner, a longtime Pendleton resident, died Friday at his home in Fishers after fighting pancreatic cancer. He was born near Lapel in 1947, and was a 1965 graduate of Lapel High School.
He attended Indiana Central College where he lettered in Track and Cross Country. After graduating in 1969, he coached and taught in the South Madison School District in Pendleton until his retirement in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Natalie, two sons, Jeffery & Jonathan of Hayden, Indiana, daughters-in-law Jill & Erin, and four grandchildren: Margaret, Barrett, Emelia, and Cecilia.
