Mr. Melvin is survived by his parents, Theresa Melvin Valmore (David) of Ville Platte, LA & Lannis Serie (Angela) of Mamou, LA; five children, Cherish Sambolah, Amari Sambolah, Lannis Sambolah all of Sulphur, LA, Jordyn Melvin of Redding, CA and Zion Melvin of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Marquita Melvin of Ports Mounth, VA and Anginita Anderson of Mamou, LA; a brother, Eli Anderson of Mamou, LA; two Godchildren, Zai’lon Melvin and Amyriah Melvin both of Jacksonville, FL and a host of extended family members and friends.
Mr. Melvin was preceded in death by his family.
