Lance Trenton Moore, 22, of Knoxville, died doing what he loved on December 21, 2021, enjoying life with his buddy on a country road in Knox County. Lance was born January 9, 1999, in Galesburg, the son of Travis Wayne and Sara Jane Moore.  He graduated from Knoxville High School in 2017 where he was a standout athlete. He then attended MTI Welding School in Peoria. Lance previously worked for Jay’s Salvage as a heavy equipment operator until he found his passion and talent as a concrete finisher. He loved working alongside many other talented concrete finishers.

Lance is survived by his mother, Sara Moore of Knoxville; and his dads, Travis (Megan Ryan) Moore of Knoxville and Richard (Libby Keith) Neal of Galesburg; the love of his life, his girlfriend, Olivia Lynch of Knoxville; his three sisters, Jordan Moore of Knoxville, Rylee Neal of Galesburg, and Cierra (Craig) Williams, III of Galesburg; three brothers, Carter Allen, Creighton Ryan, and Cormick Ryan all of Knoxville; one nephew, Craig Williams, IV. Lance is also survived by his grandparents, Crystal Moore of Galesburg, Curtis and Jane Moore of Oldsmar, FL, and Terry and Marsha Neal of Monmouth; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count. Lance was preceded in death by a grandfather, Glenn Moore.

Lance had a zest for life. He was the life of the party and lit up any room he walked into with his infectious smile and his fluffy hair.  Those that knew him were blessed to receive one of his infamous bear hugs and be touched by his loving, kind, and gentle spirit. Lance loved all genres of music and if the right song was on Lance wasn’t afraid to bust out his dance moves.
