SALEM – Lana Jeanne (Urbanik) Warren, widow of the late James Davison Warren, passed away Saturday (June 10, 2017) at the age of 70.  Born Sept. 15, 1946 in New London, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Rambush) Urbanik.  She and Jim met while attending the University of Hartford and were married on Dec. 30, 1966.  Over the years, Jim’s work entailed much traveling and whenever possible, Lana joined him as they traversed the globe, enjoying each other’s company.  In addition, the family would vacation yearly together in Holden Beach, NC.  Mrs. Warren had served on the Salem Board of Education as well as the Salem Town Librarian.  Furthermore, she had worked at Sonalyst in Waterford and Salem Country Gardens.  Her greatest joy was found in her family as she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She leaves two children – her son, Michael Warren and her daughter, Jennifer Warren Kenney, both of Salem; four grandchildren Ryan, Isabella, Brouwer and Embry; her brother, Phil Urbanik of Augusta, GA; and numerous extended family and friends.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Perry.
