LaDonne Marie (Deadmond) Neudecker, 82 of Centralia, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia. LaDonne was born March 10, 1931 in Centralia, daughter of Roy Deadmond and Gladys (Shook) Deadmond. She graduated from CTHS class of 1949. She married Clifton “Cliff’ A. Neudecker on March 20, 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2008. She is survived by one son, Michael Neudecker and wife Karisa of Centralia and by grandchildren: Dylan Michael, Carson Lee, Chase Clifton, Victoria AnnaMarie and Olivia Jane Neudecker all of Centralia; a brother-in-law: Thomas Neudecker and wife JoAnn of Owensboro, KY; two sisters-in-law: Kathleen Neudecker and Jacqueline Neudecker; many special cousins; several nieces and nephews. As well as many special friends who all loved her dearly. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-laws Roland Neudecker, Milton and wife Joye Neudecker, William and wife Gerri Neudecker, Robert Neudecker, and sister-in-law Betty Winter.; an aunt, Eva Shook, nieces, Debra Winter and Terry Neudecker and a nephew Thomas Neudecker, Jr. LaDonne dedicated her life to serving others. She taught elementary school before serving as a guidance counselor at Centralia High School for over 30 years. She was a very active member of the community serving on the Deacon Board and Mission Board at Centralia First Baptist Church; scholarship committee for the Centralia Foundation; charter member of Central City Lioness, serving on the program committee and chair of the scholarship committee; the Ladies Elks; National Education Association; Delta Kappa Gamma; Meadow Woods Ladies Golf League; charter member of AAUW, earning the Community Service Award; and BPW, Ex-Prexies, awarded Woman of the Year and recently received her 45 year pin in BPW. She enjoyed spending time with her close friends in knitting group, bridge club, and enjoying cultural events within the community. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her family.
