Lachlan Cameron Jr., 92 of Lavallette, NJ passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. He was born in Newark, NJ; he lived in Kearny and North Arlington, NJ before moving to Lavallette in 1991. He also had lived in Scotland for awhile. Lachlan proudly served in the US Army during WWII, he landed on the Shores of Normandy and spent 6 month’s on foot with his company in France and was there to free the French. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, North Arlington, NJ and very active in the Union Church of Lavallette where he was a Trustee, Elder and a member of their Men’s Club.

Lachlan was a Volunteer for the North Arlington Fire department for 24 years. He was a Voter and Taxpayer and active in Lavallette Politics and also Heritage Day and also ran for Councilman in Lavallette years ago. Predeceased by his wife June in 2014 and also his granddaughter Morgan Kelly Cameron in 2004.

Surviving is his children; Carol Glassman of Lavallette, NJ, David Cameron of New Egypt, NJ, two grandchildren Cameron Kruger and his wife Ania and Brooke Glassman, and also two great grandchildren; Dylan and Jordan.
