Mr. L. B. Haynes, age 83, of Newnan, passed away peacefully October 23, 2014. He was born in Coweta County to the late Travis and Marie Haynes. L. B. was preceded in death by siblings Henry, Harvey, Horace, Travis, Jr., Mildred, Shirley, Doris Virginia and Sara. Surviving siblings are Jo Jones ad Dolly Griffin. L. B. will be remembered for his generosity and kindness towards others. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for 34 years in the printing department of the James River Corp. He also loved construction, taking great pride in his construction company in his earlier years. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and had many fond memories of growing up there. L. B. is survived by his sons, Dennis Haynes of Newnan and Rodney Haynes and his wife Sheri of Sandersville, GA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Holly, Chloe, Amber, Michelle, Alan and his wife Ashley; 2 great grandchildren, Sophia Jaiman and Autumn Platt. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to his best friend and caregiver, Sylvia Thomas.
