Kyle David Moran, age 24, of Jackson, NJ died in a work-related traffic accident on the Garden State Parkway in Old Bridge, NJ on Thursday, November 29th, 2012.
He lived in South Amboy, New Jersey until moving to Jackson in 1996 where he spent the rest of his life-giving love and happiness to all who knew him. Kyle left a world where he had no selfish desires, wanting nothing for himself but joy for those around him. He graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 2006 having formed friendships for a lifetime. While in high school he was a four-year member of the award-winning Jaguar Band which was selected to march in the 2005 Presidential Inaugural Parade. Kyle continued his education at Westchester University, Westchester, PA. There he was selected to be a brother in the fall of 2006, Alpha Mu pledge class of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Living in the fraternity house for three years, he continued to be an active member of the Zeta Nu chapter and returned just this October for homecoming to visit his brothers. Kyle currently worked for Kline Construction, Jackson. He is a parishioner of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson.
He is survived by his close friends, parents Timothy and Karen Detlefsen Moran of Jackson, NJ, his brothers, Bret Moran of Jackson, NJ, and Daniel Reisman of Brooklyn, NY, and his grandmother, Rita Detlefsen of South Amboy, NJ.
