Kristin Michelle Keimig (Kritty) of West Des Moines, IA, died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 41 on March 31, 2021. Kristin was born in Davenport, IA on March 30, 1980 to Gregory Keimig and Ann (Lane) Keimig. She has two sisters, Katie Keimig and Kasey Hoffman.
Kristin married Roberta (Jorgensen) Keimig on June 4, 2016. She recently became a grandma to two wonderful little grandchildren from her stepchildren, Whitney (Dwayne) Smith and TJ (Maddy) Overlin.
Kristin has so many loved ones she left behind, including her nieces and nephews: Shanie (Jordan) Hubka and their baby Bo, Nicholas Keimig, Emilee Voss, and Nathan Voss, children of Katie Keimig and Kameryn Hoffman and Kourtney Hoffman, daughters of Kasey (James) Hoffman.
She enjoyed watching the Hawkeyes play football (GO HAWKS!) and cooking meals with her family.
Kristin is survived by her wife, her parents, her grandmother, her siblings, her stepchildren, her nieces and nephews, her grandchildren, her great nephew, her many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her many many friends.
Kristin knew no strangers. Her smile and bright cheerfulness will be missed deeply by anyone and everyone who knew her.
