Kristi Ann Britton, 56, of Newton, died on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at her home.
Kristi, the daughter of Walter and Bonnie (Armstrong) Osborn, was born on June 11, 1965 in Des Moines. For most of her life she lived in Newton. Kristi was a stay-at-home mom and grandma. She enjoyed cross stitch, watching her squirrel and bird feeders, and playing with her grandchildren. Kristi also loved a good cup of coffee.
Kristi is survived by her children, Jacob Britton (Crystal McKinney) of Sacramento, California; Stephanie (Brad) Landgrebe of Newton, Taylor (Doug) Mahon of Newton, and Rylee Britton of Newton; the father of her three oldest children, John Britton of Newton; grandchildren, Alexandria and Marshall; her siblings, Rhonda (Kevin) Kubli of Newton, Jeff (Staci) Osborn of Grimes, and Misty (Jarrod) Fontanini of Granger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Osborn and Bonnie Northcutt; nephew, Hunter Pierce; mother-in-law, Dorothy Ulrey; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
