Marilyn I. Korte, 56, of Trenton, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. She was born May 3, 1950 in Breese, daughter of Fred W., Jr. and Marcella M. (Hilmes) Korte. She is survived by one son, Jeffrey M. Korte and his special friend Angela Sinkey of New Baden; one daughter, Erin Korte and her fiancé, Josh Totten of Trenton; one grandchild, Trevor Korte; five brothers, Glenn Korte, Jim Korte and wife Judy, Fred R. Korte, Gary Korte and wife Pat and Randy T. Korte; one sister, Darlene Kerchner and husband Steve; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas F. Korte. Marilyn was a homemaker.
