Atella Colleen “Kolleen” Reynolds Pfost, 88, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away on April 19, 2016, at Cottonwood Cove Retirement Community in Chubbuck, Idaho. She was under the care of her family and One Source Hospice.
Kolleen was born June 9, 1927, in Marysville, Idaho to Ward Willard Reynolds and LaVerna Harris Reynolds. She grew up in the area and attended schools, graduating from Fremont High School. She continued her education by attending Idaho State University in Pocatello and later Ricks College in Rexburg where she received an Associate’s Degree in Education.
On July 11, 1949, she married Dean Fredrick Pfost in Boise, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 30, 1954. Kolleen was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated Dean’s TV in Idaho Falls.
