Kiser Sizemore, age 80, of Rensselaer passed away at his home Monday, October 12, 2009. Kiser was born June 20, 1929 in Noble, Kentucky, the son of the late Cecil and Eva (Miller) Sizemore. He attended the Caney Consolidated Schools in Hardshell, KY.
Kiser lived in Knott County, KY before moving to Rensselaer in 1947. On June 20, 1949, in Rensselaer, Kiser married the love of his life, Alma Dobson who survives. Kiser was a retired crane operator, working 35 years at U.S. Steel. He also worked 46 years as a part-time farm hand for Lloyd Logan. He was affiliated with the United Baptist Church. Along with his wife Alma.
Kiser is survived by eight children, Rita (Art) Wendt, Francesville, Anthony (Sheila) Sizemore, Medaryville, Junior (Linda) Sizemore, Wolcott, Eldon (Susie) Sizemore, Juanita (Keith) Arnett, Randy (Suzanne) Sizemore and Jeff (Deb) Sizemore all of Rensselaer and Tina Overmyer, Lafayette; 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters, Maggie Ritchie, Rowdy, KY, South Sizemore, Quicksand, KY, Charles Sizemore, Rowdy, KY, Nancy Jane Patton, Manchester, OH, Ted Sizemore, Rowdy, KY, Wanda Stone, Irvin, KY and Delmer Sizemore, Rowdy, KY. He was preceded in death by three siblings.
