Kip Lee Noblitt, age 62, of Waverly passed away at home on Saturday, February 3, 2024. He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Noblitt of Port Clinton, Ohio; and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Karmogiannis of Lorain, Ohio. He was the son-in-law of the late Harold Lane Chambers, Jr. of Waverly, Virginia.Kip was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was a 1979 graduate of Colonial Heights High School. He was an operator for over thirty years at Honeywell in Chesterfield. Kip was the proud owner of Spring Branch Farms in Waverly. He loved the farm, where he supported the love of his life, June, with cattle farming. Kip was a member of his family hunt club, fondly called “The Shack” and enjoyed all things outdoors, particularly deer hunting and fishing. He was exceptionally skilled at making fishing lures. Kip was extremely talented in building and crafting traditional bows from scratch. He took great pride in designing and crafting traditional archery, as well as repairing and sighting archery.He is survived by his wife of over thirty-two years, June Chambers Noblitt of Waverly; his son, Cody Lee Noblitt of Dinwiddie, his parents, retired LtCol Richard “Dick” C. Noblitt, Jr. and Mary “Karmy” Karmogiannis Noblitt of Chester, Virginia; his sister, Kally Noblitt McGeehan and husband, Mike of The Colony, Texas; his niece, Olivia, and nephew, Nick, wife, Brittany, and a great niece, Naya, of Oak Point, Texas; mother–in-law, Linda Harrup Chambers of Waverly; sister-in-law Pam Carr and husband Brian of Disputanta; brother-in-law, Lane Chambers and wife Frances of Wakefield; as well as many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
