Muncie-Kimmy (Kim) Hill, 55, went to be with The Lord early Monday morning, February 3, 2014, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 2, 1958, in Muncie, the daughter of step father, Paul Steele and mother Mary Lou (Ketcham) Steele.
She is a 1977 graduate of Muncie Southside High School. Kimmy married the love of her life, Howard Hill, in Muncie on September 25, 1998 and he survives. Mrs. Hill had worked as a CNA and as a QMA for many years with Home Health Care until her retirement in 2000. She had been a member of the Full Gospel Temple, The Red Hat Society, Relay for life and collected Dragon Flies and Angels. Kimmy really enjoyed her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her husband of 16 years, Howard, she is survived by five children, James Lynn, Shawn Lee (wife-Brandy), Christina Gibson, Frank Russell (wife-Courtney) and Amy Hill (husband-Jamey), all of Muncie; two special grandchildren, Josh and Nevaeh , both of Muncie; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother, Mary Lou Steele, Muncie; 2 brothers, Scott & Kelly Grahg, both of Muncie.
She was preceded in death by 2 children, Monica (Nikki) Brown in 2009 and Paul Russell in 2003; brother, Jeff Orrick in 1980; step father, Paul Steele.
