Kim Russell Chournos

Kim Russell Chournos passed 9/25/ 2013 of a brain tumor. His family said goodbye to a man who was truly an inspiration. Kim was born 7/28/1953 in Ogden Utah. He married Kathy Rowley in 1970. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1973, advancing to the rank of Staff Sergeant. After he was discharged he enrolled at Utah State University, earning a BA in Computer Science. After graduation, Kim was hired by Hewlett Packard in Boise as a Computer engineer in Research and Design, Disc Memory, Printers, Marketing and Firm Ware, for 30 years. Because of Kim’s extreme intelligence, he became one of HP’s most valuable engineers.
Kim is survived by his wife, Kathy, his daughters Kea Loveland (Lamont), and Kimie Snapp (Michael), 10 grandchildren, his father George (Kumeroa), mother Joyce Notarianni (Lou), and his sisters Kellie, Kara, Kaye Lynn, Kiana, and Cammy. Kim is preceded in death by his brother Walter Nicholas and Son-in-Law Brent Jordan.
