Kim H. “Mik” Deming, 51, of Mishawaka, died Monday, March 4, 2013 in his residence. Kim was born June 14, 1961 in Niles, Michigan to Wesley and Barbara (Pence) Deming. He was preceded in death by his father.
Kim was a talented artist who was proud of his Cree heritage and enjoyed participating in Pow-Wows. He was passionate about creating Native American artifacts, many of which were purchased and displayed locally.Family and friends will greatly miss Mik.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara (Pence) Deming of Cassopolis; two sisters, Kristina Deming of Greenfield, Indiana, Kolleen Hurt of Clearwater, Florida; two brothers, Kevin Deming of South Bend, Kirk (Amelia) Deming of Clearwater, Florida; one niece, Stephanie Williams; and five nephews, Branden Benson, John Paul Deming, Christopher Deming, Dylan Deming, Roman Deming; one great niece, Nicole Benson; and one great nephew, Travis Williams.
