SMITH, Kevin James passed away Sunday morning, May 25, 2014, on Mackinac Island. Kevin was born March 23, 1978, in Kalamazoo, MI the son of Keith and Ann Torian Smith.
He enjoyed spending springs and summers working on Mackinac Island at the Grand Hotel and various other venues. In the fall and winter months, Kevin would travel to Colorado, or Utah to work at winter vacation destinations. On his seasonal breaks, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Kevin was a movie buff and enjoyed playing video games. He also studied and competed in martial arts at the black belt level.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Keith. He is survived by; his mother, Ann Steve Pacic; a brother, Brian Smith; grandmother, Geraldine “Gerry” Torian; and grandparents, Robert Shirley Luckey, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
