Kevin H. O’Kane, age 59, beloved husband of Kim (Chapdelaine), of Colchester, passed away after a sudden illness on September 16, 2016 in Hartford.
He was also born in Hartford, a son of Helen (Holt) O’Kane of Goodlettsvile, TN and the late Norman O’Kane.
Kevin married Kim in 1983. Soon after, the couple moved to Colchester where they made their home and raised their family. Kevin worked for Wiltel as a Telephone Technician throughout his career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he loved animals.
He will be remembered with love by his wife of 33 years, Kim; his mother, Helen O’Kane; three children, Heather O’Kane and Derek O’Kane, both of Colchester, Ashley O’Kane and companion, Adam Parkinson of Coventry; a brother, Kenneth O’Kane of Manchester; mother-in-law, Norma Fowler of Vernon; a grandson, AJ Parkinson; and numerous extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, John Sheldon.
