Kevin G. Rohon, 59, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, February 19, 2011.  He was the beloved husband of Anna Marie (Sosa) Rohon.

Kevin was born in New Britain on March 28, 1951, one of five children of Claire B. (Zebrowski) and the late Henry D. Rohon, who predeceased him in January 2011.  He was raised in Plainville, graduating from Plainville High School in 1969. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy shortly after, serving his country during Vietnam.  Kevin was an outdoors enthusiast, who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends.  He liked the peacefulness of nature, and growing vegetables, as well as listening to classic rock, and made a hobby of working with metal, creating sculptures and statues of various kinds. An avid sports fan, the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and UCONN were among his favorite teams to cheer on.   Kevin lived each day to the fullest, keeping his family at the center of his life, and leaving them with many cherished memories of the good times they shared.

In addition to his wife, Anna, he leaves a step-daughter, Viola Fernandes and her husband, Pedro; brothers, Daniel Rohon and his wife, Anna Marie; and Neil Rohon;  sister, Andrea Principato; sister-in-law, Beverly Rohon; cousins, Kathleen Clayton, Judith Bryant and Marion Lasko; aunt, Jean Pepe; best buddy, Jimmy Chace and his wife, Carrie; and a niece and nephew.  He was predeceased by his brother, David A. Rohon
