Kestutis “Peter” “Skipper” Mikaitis, 89, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was born in Lithuania, he lived in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Toms River, NJ in 1970. Peter was a Biomedical Electronic Engineer, Captain and the owner of Petmar Equipment in Farmingdale, NJ prior to retiring.
His passion was deep sea fishing on his sports fishing boat “Canyon Fever.” He enjoyed collecting Classic Cars. He was a parishioner of St. Justin’s RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Predeceased by his son Peter K. Surviving are his loving wife Margaret C. (Gehm), two daughters Christina Stefanick and her husband Richard of Bricktown, NJ and Dana Mikaitis of Toms River, NJ, two sisters Matilda Kurapka of CT, and Onute of Lithuania.
