Kerri Leigh Rogoz, age 20, of Prospect, died Sunday May 3, 2015 of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Waterbury. Kerri was born December 13, 1994 in Danbury a daughter of Christopher and Jill (Helmacy) Rogoz. She graduated from Woodland Regional High School in 2012, followed by a few semesters at Naugatuck Valley Community College. She worked as a clerk at the Shell gas station in Ansonia. She enjoyed music and going to concerts, reading, going for hikes with her dog Milo, swimming and traveling. She is described by her family as being very vibrant and full of life. She loved all kinds of animals and was in love with being outdoors.
In addition to her parents, Kerri is survived by a sister: Sydney Muehlfeld and her fiance Jonathan Taylor of Shelton, her maternal grandparents: Patricia Helmacy of New Jersey and Thomas and Florence Helmacy of Pennsylvania, her paternal grandparents: Robert J. and Mary Rogoz of Prospect and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
