Mr. Kermit Richmond, Age 79, 0f Olive Hill, Ky. passed away Tuesday October 29, 2013 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Ky. After an extended illness.

Kermit was born on Old Trace Lewis County, Ky. February 25, 1934 to the late Stant & Beulah Howaed Richmond. Kermit was a retired School Bus driver for the Lewis County School System.

Kermit was also an accomplished singer and song writer with hit songs reaching the top of the Blue Grass Music Chart and listed with Kings&Star Day music chart including When Your Out Of My Arms, recorded by Bill Monroe and other great music artists. Other singles include Living My Life In Vain, Will There Be A Rainbow and his biggest hit Dreaming. He was lead singer,vocalists, and song writer for the Kentucky Travelers.

He played these hits on the Old Grand Opry in Nashville, Tennessee with Tom T. Hall and other legends in country music in 1959.
