KENT GILES passed away on Saturday May 14, 2016 at the young age of 35, from massive heart attack. Born November 11, 1980, in Dallas, Texas, the second son of Mike and Judy Giles. Kent graduated from Carrollton Christian Academy. Attended Sam Houston State University and University of North Texas.

Kent was an intern for the radio show “Puggs and Kelly.” He was Branch Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Account Manager with Merchant Capital Advance, Sales Manager – Student Loan Forgiveness Division with 1-888 Lending Inc.

Kent met THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, Nicole Elkins, in December 2006 and introduced her to his Family and Extended Family that Christmas Eve! Kent and Nicole were engaged soon after and he said “MOM she is the ONE”. They bought a beautiful Home in Fate Texas, and married June 2012. On October 13, 2014, RILEY GRACE GILES was born. LOVE, JOY and EXCITEMENT were plentiful as they welcomed their sweet precious princess. Life was Happy and complete. His whole world revolved around his Riley Roo (as he called her sometimes). Kent was a very “Hands On” Daddy. Kent joked about having a tea party with Riley and they both would wear tutus but he called his a fourfour because it was bigger. He said he was going to use his boy scout skills and build her a fort when she was a little bigger. Kent fell in love with snorkeling in Mexico on their Honeymoon and 2nd trip to Mexico and they planned on taking Riley on her first vacation to Mexico this year or next. Looking forward to many trips with Nicole and Riley The perfect little family and hoping for many more children.

Kent was a Boy Scout with Chip, John, David and others. Big Brother, Michael was coach for his T-ball team, REMEMBER THE JAMS? Keith were you too old? Also played Soccer and then Football with Carrollton Christian Academy. Kent was offered a football scholarship with a University in Kansas, but decided to stay in Texas. Kent was Class Clown, anyone remember a WALL incident? He enjoyed friendships with the CCA group who went to Europe together! He was friendly and outgoing, Kent made friends everywhere.
Kent was a very fun loving person who would give his coat off his back to anyone in need. JUDY’S POOL is where you found Kent and his friends from “way back.” We can see him playing with Trenton, Colton and Riley just last summer. KENT WAS A BIG KID, playing with all the children and enjoying LIFE.
