Kenneth Wayne Wilson, Sr. 67, died Wed. July 07, 2010 at his residence 1410 Old Liberty Dr., Axton, Va. 24054. Mr. Wilson was born January 13, 1943 in Pittsylvania Co. to the late Daniel Wilson and the late Elsie Mae McDaniel Wilson. Kenneth was married to Barbara Taylor Wilson of the residence. Wayne retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. where he worked in the Banbury. Mr. Wilson was of the Baptist faith; he was also a member of the American Legion Post 1097 and the Redmen Poquoson Tribe No. 124. Kenneth served in United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of the residence, three daughters Becky Wilson, Jennifer Wilson and Makayla Wilson all of Axton, VA., one son Kenneth Wayne Wilson, Jr. of Axton, one sister Linda Faye Thornton of Martinsville, two brothers Bethel Wilson and Joe Wilson of Danville, four grandchildren Casey Wilson, Tristan Bryant, Ethan Bryant and Bethany Wilson. In addition to his parents Kenneth is predeceased by one brother Derl Wilson and one stepson Timothy Noel Tuggle.
