Kenneth Vincent GaNun, 65, of North Branford and Bolivia, NC passed away at NY Presbyterian Columbia Medical Center on June 30, 2011 with his family by his side. Born in New Haven, son of the late Kenneth S. and Margaret GaNun. Devoted husband for the past 40 years of Patricia Romei GaNun. Loving father of Kenneth S. GaNun and his wife Cathy of Orange and Tricia Guyon and her husband Andy of Middletown. Cherished grandfather of Ashley & Carson Guyon and Abigail & Kenneth V. GaNun II. Brother of Marie Mei of FL, great friend for the past 30 yrs of Edward Walsh of Hamden, and also survived by his many wonderful nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a self-employed painting contractor. He was a passionate Boston Red Sox fan and also loved his vacation home in North Carolina. His love for cooking was shared by many family and friends, especially his Friday night pizza. Ken will always be remembered for his jovial smile, sense of humor and his love for his children and grandchildren. He was also a US Navy Veteran Serving during the Vietnam Era.
