Kenneth Turner Hilt, 79, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

He was born on July 28, 1942 in Romney to the late Raymond and Aldine (Turner) Hilt.

Following graduation from East Tipp High School in 1960, Kenny enlisted in the Marine Corp and served our country from 1961 until 1966 during the Vietnam War.

Kenny worked for ALCOA for 32 years. After retiring he worked for Blue Haven Pools for an additional 10 years.

He was a member of the American Legion and 40&8.

Kenny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He always had a smile and never knew a stranger.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Wolsieffer) Hilt, Daughters, Traci (Tad) Ritchie, Angela Hilt Bennett both of Lafayette, Becky (Greg) Lockmiller of Findley, OH, Rhonda (Paul) Abernathy, of Tilton, IL and Cathy (Shawn) Whited of Aurora, IL, and a son, Ronald Turner Hilt of Lafayette. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Kenny is preceded in death by his first wife Sandra (Alford) Hilt, a son, Ronald Hilt, and siblings, Doris Hilt, Donald Hilt, Edward Hilt, Nancy (Hilt) Haynes and Francis Hilt.
