Kenneth Skirvin, 78, of Nineveh, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Nineveh. He was born March 7, 1938, in Indianapolis, to his parents, Lorenzo and Ruth (Ramsey) Skirvin.
He was a turkey farmer in Salisbury, In. for 15 years and a retired manager of the Indiana parking garage, where he worked for 20 years. He loved feeding the wildlife, in his yard. Kenneth was a cat rescuer and he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and was an avid IU and Colts fan. He was a member of the Moriah Apostolic Church, in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his children; a daughter, Pamela (Wallace) VanDyke of Morgantown, and a son, Ronald Skirvin of North Carolina, three brothers, Robert (Alice) Skirvin of Indianapolis, Donald Skirvin of Greenwood, and Tommy (Chris) Harr of Indianapolis, seven grandchildren; Amy Thomas, Tyler VanDyke, Angie Bumps, Woodrow Skirvin, Soni Jackson, Dusty Skirvin, and Steve Skirvin, and several great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Leona C. (Ramsey) Skirvin, his parents, Lorenzo and Ruth (Moore) Skirvin, a son, Steve Skirvin, a brother David Skirvin, a sister, Ruth Skirvin, a granddaughter, Miranda Skirvin Wilson, and a sister-in-law, Judy Skirvin.
