Funeral Services for Kenneth Robert Alligood, age 74, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Bro. Jerry Hubbard will officiate the service.A native of Meigs, GA, he was retired from Lockheed Martin, a Rural Carrier with the Bay St. Louis Post Office, an Airforce Veteran of Vietnam, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery Alligood and Nellie Wilford Alligood; son, Nathan Chad Davis; sisters and brothers, Betty Penton, JoAnn Freeman, Chris “Butch” Alligood, Nan Monk, Harry Alligood, Grace Seegan, Francis Norton, Ira Alligood, Gene Alligood, Gordon Alligood, and Shelby Alligood.Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 49 devoted years, Glenda LaVigne Alligood; daughter, Carrie Jane Lott and husband Joseph; grandsons, Nathan Cole Lott and Jackson LaVigne Lott; sister, Pat (James) Kent; numerous nieces and nephews.
