Kenneth R. Scisney Jr. was born on April 7, 1971 to Wanda Marshall and Kenneth Scisney Sr. in Indianapolis Indiana. He was their only son.
At an early age he adopted the nickname, “John” which his family friends and peers called him. He attended School #67, #90 and Robey Elementary School, Fulton Junior High School and graduated from Ben Davis High School.
John learned a trade in Quality Control, gained employment and became a father of four children. He attended Hudson Tabernacle C.M.E.
John enjoyed cars and sports and loved to watch the news. He was a fan of rap music and loved to listen to it loudly. He was a good friend, a loyal and respectable peer, and a loving father, grandfather, brother and relative.
When he was a teen, he dreamed of being “LL Cool J”. He will be mostly remembered for his smile, laugh, and silly jokes.
John departed this life at age forty-eight years old on September 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
He leaves to cherish his memory four children, one daughter, Kennetra; three sons, Ken III, Ken III “Scooter” and Tyler; eight grandchildren, Kaden, Sincere, Kelin, Santana, Jordan, Kolby, Dakota and Kynle; three sisters, Kim, Erica, and Nicole; nieces, nephews, and a host of others that loved him dearly.
