Kenneth Paul Pimental, 67, of Carver, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 1,2022 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of Barbara (Zaniboni) Pimental. Born in Plymouth, MA on January 24, 1955, he was the son of the late Marion and Alberta (Pederzani) Pimental.Kenny was educated in Plymouth schools and was a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School, Class of 1973. He had worked for over 43 years as a meat cutter, retiring from Whole Foods Hingham in March of 2021.Kenny enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He was an avid sports fan, taking pride in supporting the New England Patriots as well as the Boston Red Sox. He was also an automobile enthusiast. Kenny was a member of the Eel River Canoe Club – he loved his time camping with his longtime friends as they ventured out on their annual canoe trips. He was a loyal member of the Young America Club in North Plymouth. Kenny is and will be missed by the many lives he touched.Besides his wife of 39 years, Kenny was the loving father of Rachel Loring and her husband Danny of Hyde Park, his son Nicholas of Carver and his cherished grandson Rory Paul Loring. He was the beloved brother of Alan Pimental and his sisters Pamela Reed and Kristine Pimental all of Plymouth. He was the uncle of Adam Reed and his wife Elizabeth of Plymouth and Marcella Reed of Carver. He also leaves his faithful labradoodle, Louis.
