Kenneth P. McCaffrey, 72, of Leominster, died on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Life Care Center of Leominster after a long battle of illnesses. Ken was predeceased by his parents Ethel (McCaffrey) Murphy and Charles McCaffrey. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Louise (Baio) McCaffrey of Leominster and daughter Kristine Roddy and husband John of Maynard.
Ken had an undying work ethic and was a United States Government employee for 37 years; 35 of those years as a U.S. Customs/Border Patrol Inspector. A lifelong baseball and Boston Red Sox fanatic he spent hours watching, reading and talking about the sport. Ken was an avid reader, and lover of politics, Country Western music, family meals and get togethers, watching favorite television programs and playing cards; especially Cribbage. He will be greatly missed.
