Kenneth J. Oestreich, 80 of Centralia, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home.He was born April 21, 1935 in Centralia, son of Theodore Oestreich and Blanche (Cross) Oestreich. He married Sarah Heyduck on April 21, 1961 in Centralia and she survives in Centralia.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is also survived by three daughters: Pamela Davenport and husband Terry of Centralia, Diana Jacobs and special friends Phillip Pratt of Centralia, and Sally Schroeter and husband Jack of Centralia; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Campbell and husband Bob of Centralia, 2 nieces, 4 nephews; a sister-in-law, Mary Michell of Sioux, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law, Richard Michell, and two sister-in-laws, Jean Heyduck and Susan Heyduck.Kenneth worked at the Centralia Water Plant for 22 years as the Plant Supervisor and later retired in 2000. He was a member of the Charter: Centralia Kickapoo Archery Club, Boy Scout Leader, Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Toastmaster J C’s, S.S. Super, Trinity Young Couples Club, and Rotary.

He was also the Co-Founder of the Centralia Area History Museum and Charter Board Member of the Centralia Area History Museum. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
