Kenneth Lee Aldridge, 79, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Norton’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital. A native of Louisville, he was the son of the late William and Virginia Dunn Aldridge. He attended Jefferson Community College in Indiana. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he married Valerie White, and they settled in Kentucky. He worked at General Electric Company for several years as a maintenance technician for air conditioning. In his leisure time, he enjoyed guns and fishing. He had been a member of the Pistol Team in the military.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Stanley Aldridge and one sister, Jean Zoeller, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Valerie Aldridge of Simpsonville; one daughter, Denise Michelle Peek of Louisville; three grandchildren, James Peek, Corey Peek and Ashley Peek and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
